Reduce the level of bad cholesterol in your body

Cholesterol is both a friend and a foe. Why? There are two types of cholesterol – good cholesterol and bad cholesterol. Good cholesterol is required by the body to help build and maintain membranes. As the saying goes ‘too much of anything, is good for nothing’, cholesterol beyond a level is very injurious to health.

This video explains a very simple technique that we can implement to decrease the level of bad cholesterol and at the same time, maintain and improve the level of good cholesterol in our body. This is a liquid that can be made within minutes at home and when taken regularly will give a notable change in the cholesterol levels.


  1. Curry leaves – 10 gm
  2. Butter milk – 1 glass
  3. Ginger – Small piece

Preparation: Grind the curry leaves in a mixer. Cut the ginger into fine pieces. Mix these in buttermilk. Drink this regularly in the morning in empty stomach for good results.

Another ingredient that reduces the level of cholesterol is Onion. The same is scientifically proven. Include onion in salads on a regular basis in your diet.
