How to Get Fish Smell off Your Hands

Handling fish leaves a less than pleasant smell on your hands.

  • Lemon

    Cut a fresh lemon into wedges. After you are finished handling the fish, squeeze the lemon onto your hands, rub your hands together, and rinse with water.

  • Vinegar

     This compound is also successful at breaking down odors.   Just splash and rub this on your hands to remove any residual odor.  As a final step, be sure to rinse hands afterwards to remove any lingers smell of vinegar.

  •  Baking Soda

    Pour a small amount of baking soda within your hands and rub it in thoroughly under the kitchen faucet.  Finally, wash all of the substance away to reveal freshen hands.
